Supporting mobility, strength, and confidence through movement.
Therabees Help Children and Young People Move, Play & Thrive
What is Paediatric Physiotherapy?
Paediatric physiotherapy helps children and young people improve movement, strength, and coordination to support everyday function. Our physiotherapists work with families to support physical development, prevent injury, and build confidence in daily activities.
Therabees physiotherapists focus on building strength through play-based movement strategies in a supportive and engaging environment.
Did You Know?
Approximately 7.4% of Australian children aged 0–14 have some level of disability, with boys more likely to be affected than girls
This highlights the need for early, specialised support, especially for families navigating developmental delays, coordination issues, and physical challenges.
How Paediatric Physiotherapy in Adelaide Can Help
Many children and young people experience difficulties with movement, posture, or physical independence.
Left unaddressed, these issues can lead to delayed milestones, reduced confidence, and challenges in everyday tasks like walking, playing, or joining in at school.
At Therabees, our paediatric physiotherapists work with families to build strength, improve coordination, and promote confident movement. We create fun, individualised therapy plans to support long-term growth and independence.
Children may benefit from physiotherapy if they experience:
- Gross motor delays – Difficulty sitting, crawling, standing, or walking
- Frequent falls & poor coordination – Struggles with balance and movement
- Muscle tightness or weakness – Conditions like low or high muscle tone
- Joint or postural concerns – Including scoliosis or toe walking
- Difficulty with daily activities – Challenges with running, jumping, or playing with peers
Early support leads to stronger outcomes. We’re here to help children and young people move with confidence every step of the way.
