What is neuroaffirming practice?
- At Therabees we are neuroaffirming practitioners.
- This means we will consider and highlight your child's strength and needs. We also try to avoid using terms like disorder or on the spectrum due to language preferences by the Autistic community.
- We aim to provide you with a positive experience throughout our process. We will provide you with as much information to help prepare you for assessment day and have our assessment space sensory friendly.
