About Caroline

Caroline is the Clinical Lead Speech Pathologist at Therabees.

Her role involves working with a small caseload at our Glynde clinic and supporting our Speech Pathology team.

She completed a BSc (Hons) Speech and Language Pathology in London, a PhD in Linguistics and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning in Higher Education at Macquarie University, Sydney. She has been a practising Speech Pathologist for nearly 30 years and a researcher and lecturer at Macquarie University and Plymouth Marjon University. She has published research and presented at national and international conferences in the fields of brain injury, speech pathology, clinical training, and psycholinguistics. She is a senior fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of Speech, Pathology Australia, Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists and the Health Care Professions Council. Before relocating to Adelaide, she worked as an Associate Professor at Plymouth Marjon University training Speech and Language Therapy students as well as running her own private practice specialising in communication disorders associated with early life brain injury. Outside of work, Caroline enjoys competitive swimming, spending time with her family and travelling.
