About Gemma

Gemma is the owner of Therabees and is an experienced Physiotherapist having worked with children for over 13 years. She is passionate about helping children to maximise their potential. It was this passion that led Gemma to start Therabees and to find a passionate like-minded team to work alongside her.

Gemma is British born and has worked as a Physio in the UK and Europe before settling in Australia. Her experience includes Paediatric Neuro-developmental Physiotherapy, Orthopaedic Rehabilitation and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. She also has experience teaching undergraduate Physiotherapy students at the University of South Australia.

Gemma has a passion for helping children as well as continued professional development. She has completed courses in reflex integration, Therasuit & Intensive therapy, hydrotherapy, SCERTS model, children's continence and torticollis management for infants.

In her spare time Gemma enjoys spending time with her 2 young children, connecting with other local providers and also coaches and plays competitive Hockey.
